Some of our volunteers say that helping at St. Francis House was the best part of their week!
Whether it’s preparing daily lunches for more than 100 people or helping pack weekly food boxes distributed from our pantry, we need your help. If you have a group, we can plan a special project or cook a Chef’s Night Out Dinner for our residents!
Volunteers play an essential role in providing critical services to families and individuals facing homelessness, hunger and needing emergency shelter. St. Francis House provides help for those in crisis situations and case management to enable each one to create a plan for a better life.

We are always looking for new ways to get our volunteers involved with the work at St. Francis House. Currently, we have the following volunteer opportunities:
Kitchen/Pantry: 7 days a week, shifts available from 8:00 a.m. until 12 p.m.
When you help out at St. Francis House you will see the direct results of the time you shared. Volunteering is rewarding, fun and often leads to new friendships with other volunteers.
Those with young families enjoy sandwich making parties and then delivering them to the shelter.
We now have street outreach teams that bring supplies to homeless youth and adults; so personal care items are always needed. Helping the homeless can be either hands on or a very needed drive for essential supplies and food. Either way, you are helping to alleviate hunger and homelessness in our community. Thank you!

Volunteering is rewarding, fun and can be a great team building experience. We often need groups of up to 8-10 to help make dinner for St Francis House clients. To learn more, click here!
