At the St. Francis House Advocacy and Referral Center, we are dedicated to addressing immediate needs while laying the foundation for long-term stability. By providing essential resources and personalized support, we guide individuals and families through their journey from crisis to self-sufficiency. Here’s how we do it:
Advocate for someone at risk or refer them to St. Francis House to initiate support and create a connection.
Call 904-829-8937 to access immediate assistance and essential services, including food, clothing, and housing support
Receive personalized support that helps individuals and families transition from crisis to long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Failing to provide timely support and resources to those at risk of homelessness leads to significant and widespread consequences
Without access to basic necessities and healthcare, individuals face worsening physical and mental health conditions.
Lack of support increases the risk of violence, exploitation, and abuse, leaving individuals in unsafe and unstable situations.
Inadequate resources and assistance extend the period of homelessness, making it more challenging to achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
The absence of community support and essential services fosters feelings of isolation and hopelessness, further impeding recovery and reintegration.
Ignoring the needs of those at risk undermines community well-being and cohesion, perpetuating cycles of neglect and suffering that affect everyone.
